This weekend my family had the privilege to go back to our former church in Baytown to celebrate their 100th anniversary! 100 years of serving the people of Baytown and surrounding communities. 100 years preaching the gospel to the lost. 100 years of discipling the growth of members. 100 years of families serving each other during a time of need. 100 years of developing pastors and missionaries to serve around the world. 100 years of baptisms, weddings, and baby dedications. Hats off to the past! 💯🎉
How does a church survive the span of time in an era where so many are dying?! While looking at the history, we read that church leaders were not afraid to be bold and change as needed, while keeping the goal and focus the same – leading the lost to salvation. The church location moved several times in the last 100 years as growth of the community occurred. The current location has also been expanded several times to allow for church growth and needs. The church also continues to serve the community and focus on missions. They continue to work to expand His kingdom. Coats off to the future!💯🎉💪
This church played a real and valuable role in my family’s life. We were married there, and our boys were dedicated there. They also stepped up in a big way to take care of my boys while I was sick and in the hospital for 7 weeks. They were the tangible hands of God during our time of need. We love that we are a part of this amazing legacy! Congratulations Trinity!
❤💯😍
In my business life, I can take page from this history book. Don’t be afraid to change. Don’t be afraid to move. Serve others! God will use you when you put in the work! 💯💪
