Balance vs Rythm

What do the following have in common:
Big Foot
Loch Ness Monster
Balance in Life

They have all been fabled to be true! 不

Why do we believe still look for balance in life? Balance between work and family在etween expectation and reality在etween free time and to do lists在etween hustle and self care在etween health and wellness.

We must find a rthymn to life. Maybe that means having something to look forward to during the crazy, busy times. Prepare for the upcoming week during the weekend reviewing meetings and appointments, meal planning, and making sure everything is covered. Time block what is important so you can adjust for emergencies.

When we let go of the illusion of balance, we can find our rhythm. I’m thankful for the premium nutrition that give me the energy to just keep going! Message me if you need help!

Last 90 Days

I’ve participated in the Last 90 Days Challenge this month, which is ongoing until the end of the year. It has introduced 5 good habits into my daily routine. One includes drinking half your weight in ounces of water each day, and another includes giving up a food that does not bless your body.

The water goal is a hard one for me to hit daily, but I am drinking way more than I normally did, and the benefits are there. Some people in the challenge are giving up a food for 30 days and then changing to a different food the following month. Richard and I decided to use this time to give up most carbs and follow the Keto diet during the entire 90 days. 仁

I have NOT cheated AT ALL during October! I’m down 14.4 lbs for the month. I feel good, and I’m happy that my 3 simple steps help me further reach my goals! In November I’ll even get to add a new amino acid formula to my steps to help build lean muscles! I feel good, and I’m ready to live my best life!

What about you? Are you growing? Are you living the life you deserve? If your answer in No, then message me so we can talk about options. It’s time to live life out loud!

Serve your Spouse

I have to brag on my husband today! I got up super early on Saturday to get ready for a vendor event across town. I had several things to get done before I could leave, and the list was long.

My husband, who had his own list of things he wanted to get done, put my needs first without me even knowing. When it was time for me to go, he had removed the soccer stuff from the back of my vehicle, reloaded the SUV with my things needed for the event, had breakfast packed and ready for me to eat on the road, and an ice chest packed with waters, lunch and and goodies so I could stay out all day. What a blessing!

Ladies, serve your man, and be his helpmate! If you’re not already married, look for a man that is willing to serve you too. The little acts of kindness towards each other go so much further than just words. I can imagine doing life with anyone else!

Connect and Recharge

Can I get mushy for a moment?

Any time you see Richard and I together, most likely we are holding hands. We hold hands just about any time we are sitting next to each other, when we are walking through a parking lot, when we’re in the car together, and even in church!

For us, this isn’t some form of PDA, it’s about connection. We spend most of the day apart while he is at work, and then well, we are parenting at home, at the football field, or the soccer field. We also run businesses that call our attention away from each other. So when we’re together…we connect and recharge.

I’m sure a sciencey friend could probably explain the hormones or the mental triggers of the brain, but for us, it’s just a simple thing. I know it strengthens our marriage. I know it sets an example of what love looks like to our boys. And I know when I’m away, I can’t wait to get back home to my husband and recharge!
